This striking contemporary home was designed to replace a derelict property on a challenging sloping site overlooking Bristol. Taking full advantage of the plot’s topography, we created a distinctive three storey family home that maximises both space and the spectacular far reaching views across the city and surrounding countryside.

The design carefully responds to the steep gradient, with accommodation arranged over multiple levels to create bright, spacious interiors flooded with natural light. Large areas of glazing and feature gable windows frame the views and connect the living spaces with the landscape beyond.

 

The result is a modern, energy efficient family home that transforms a previously underutilised site into an exceptional contemporary residence, perfectly tailored to its unique setting.
